HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOCELYN BONG CHING CHONG. :)

I don't have any pics of u on me now, because I'm uni-ing. :) And no I didn't forget your birthday young lady. Just been a busy day, and now i finally get a chance to breath. Finally a year older eh? :) Times spent with you never fail to end up crazy or pigging or bumming. And you always make me pick you up from the jungle. You bug me in the afternoons when I'm napping. You steal my bubbles. You make me go crazy. You (try) steal Wowee from me. But than you also let me have your chocolate fudge and some of your bubbles. We play random PS games. Weirdo sleepovers with silly pictures. You burn cds for me. You borrow me your dvds. You tell me stories. You go shopping with me, and let me have the nice tops. You go to the salon with me to color ur hair pink and laugh at my short hair. You smack me for biting my nails (*as do everyone else). So for all these things, i'd like to say Happy bumday. :)

CONGRATS BILS! GRADUATED! WOO! :) POLICEMAN forever!

Again, I've gone missing. Hiatus even. I have somehow just lost the touch for anything internet, excluding facebook (yes I admit I've spent "some" time on it. Its BAD BAD BAD for your health). I haven't been on MSN in what feels like forever. I know my blog's starting to collect dust. Again, I have no proper reason for going missing. Its just... a phase. However, I do realise how important MSN is in helping to keep in touch with anyone and everyone. Not going on MSN is like cutting off the world. I will MSN soon but. :)

Update:
- I'm on my mid-sem break.
- I've moved out of my beloved RiverPlaza, and currently living out of a shoebox at the babes' place.
- Adelaide came and went. It was indeed a much-needed time together. Very much family-oriented. :) Wine / cheese / choc tasting in the countryside, shopping with my mummy, going to the Royal Adelaide Show, having a family caricature done, stuffing our faces (my bros and I) with bacon and eggs everyday for the 5 days I was there, getting my hair cut asian style...and yes amidst all that, I never did get the time to sit and actually do my assignment, which meant that I stressed for the whole < 24 hrs when i got back to Brisbane. Needless to say, it wasn't one of my best works.
- Moving into my new place next week.

For now...I shall try to get my head around some Finance stuff. Ttyl.

How do you change that sentence around to make it sound better? Anyone? Yes, I've been staring at it for the past hour....and its barely the introduction. And I have to finish 2500 words by tomorrow, if possible. Most probably have to drag my stuff to Adelaide with me to work with there. Sucha bummer.

Oh a brighter side.....I'm seeing my family soon soon soon!! :) Happy happy happy. Much needed family-loving time. Video-calling just doesn't do.

This post has no content whatsoever, really. Its just an excuse to not stare at that lala sentence. I'll blog more....when I have the time, so as to avoid meaningless posts such as this.

Yes, again, I've gone missing. I apologise. I keep apologising. Theres some saying about how you shouldn't keep saying sorry and keep doing the same mistake again. Once you say sorry, you shouldn't do it again. Well, something along those lines.

What's happening (all in order) for the next few months (which may explain my MIAness to those who've been asking :)):

- Riverfest! Its one of the prettiest festivals I've seen here in Brissy. It has gorgeous fireworks that go off in several different locations. Love it! Seriously, fireworks = magic. I don't like going into the whole what-makes-fireworks stuff. Anyway, this will explain it better- www.riverfestival.com.au

- [edit] Brunei Student Society Netball tournament on Saturday!

- 2 exams and an essay in the next 2 weeks.

- Dress-hunting for Adelaide (funfunfun! Too many choices but.)

- Adelaide to be with my dearest family. Definitely a time I've been waiting for. This is the longest time I've not seen them! Yes yes, it may not seem long to some...but really, it is. I miss them heaps!!

- Find a place, pack and move (BIG BIG bummer!). Praying we'll find a place. No more riverplaza. Sadness...www.riverplaza.com.au

- Del coming over!! AND get this get this! We're going to the Justin Timberlake concert! OMGOMGOMG. :) Bimbo moment over....soon. I'm not like a hardcore fan, but JT is pretty cool. Note to self: Memorise his songs so I can sing along. NOT. (Hence the picture above. Can't believe I have a picture of JT up. Tsk.)

- HOME for summer (:)) with more things to come there.

Yes, a "wise" friend told me about those phrases. I figured I might as well make them the phrases of the week, as cliche as they do sound. I suppose stuff are cliche only because there is some truth to them, which is why people tend to use them all the time.

Here I am again at uni, waiting for my tutorial to start. I can't help but reflect back on all the years I've been here. Its weird when people ask me how long I've been here and I reply "3 years". Time really did fly past. Graduation is coming soon. With that comes the decisions that need to be made about the future.

I reckon I've always been someone who goes with the flow, never really been a planner, never had any big goals or big ambitions when I was younger, never wanted to be an astronaut or a doctor or anything of the sort, never made really big decisions. I guess I've always been someone who leaves the bigger decisions to the most important people in my life; my parents. Like studying accounting wasn't always a part of the "plan" for me. My dad is the main influence on that aspect. All those talks about financial reporting, and what he does at work and how all it takes is practice and just seeing him do the financial year end budget reports. Yes, I know it all sounds pretty boring but it actually sounded like something I didn't mind doing (I can't believe I'm saying this). Even what I wear, I like asking my mum, simply because I value her opinion. My mum and I have grown so much closer over the past few years, and its probably one of the major highlights of the past few years of growing up. I can finally understand when people say "My mum is my best friend". It wasn't an immediate thing, but more a gradual closeness and understanding between us. I can talk to her about ~~almost~~ everything now.

The bottom line is, I guess I realise that it is time for me to actually BE a part of the decisions made. Instead of people making the decisions for me, instead of them planning FOR me, it should be planning WITH me. Its about time I stand up and open my eyes to see the bigger picture and to fully understand that at the end of it, they only have my best interests at heart.
